So I never made an official post about it because I’ve been busy af but I should do it now because if I put it off longer I’ll forget completely. I’m going to be on hiatus until probably around mid Feb depending on my schedule. I’m currently looking for work so I won’t really be active at all. I might pop in here or there but otherwise I’m pretty much gone. My queue atm is running pretty low but I will try to queue as much content in the next few days to keep my blog going, but I do want to thank everyone for sticking around regardless of my inactivity.
If my mutuals could signal boost this that’d be great.
Narcissa: She’s beauty, she’s grace… She made a mistake…Narcissa Black certainly wasn’t good; she fell in with a bad crowd, she was haughty, cold and not afraid to be cruel. But she wasn’t all bad either.
the weasley family: requested by @10daysinbed
Weasley is the surname of a pure-blood family (though the most recent generation has many non-pureblood members). All members of the Weasley family are red-haired and Sorted into Gryffindor upon attendance of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The family home, known as the Burrow, is located just outside Ottery St Catchpole, in Devon, England. They were included in the Sacred Twenty-Eight list, published in the Pure-Blood Directory by the 1930s. However, they deplored their inclusion in the list, because they said they had ancestral ties to many interesting Muggles. Their protests earned these families the opprobrium of advocates of the pure-blood doctrine, and the epithet ‘blood traitor’.

harry potter meme [1/]9 characters: narcissa malfoy
While neither she nor Voldemort thinks of it as such, Narcissa’s capacity for love, and her love for Draco are a strength. The fact that her love for her son outweighs her loyalty to Voldemort demonstrates how even within Voldemort’s inner circles, love is still the force that causes his ultimate downfall. Narcissa’s love for her son, possibly equivalent to Lily’s love for Harry, gives her the ability to lie to Voldemort that Harry is dead, despite what Harry feels is a quite visible pulse. Narcissa here exhibits the exact type of love Voldemort never understood. This type of love caused his downfall 17 years ago, and it is the cause of his downfall in the final book.
As the realisation of what was really going on hit her, Lily’s jaw went slack and her eyes glazed. He was proposing to her. He was proposing to her? He was proposing to her! Lily scrambled up from her sitting position, pressing her hand to her heart which was now attempting to escape her chest cavity. Her eyes darted from her boyfriend to the half chewed mess in her hand. This can’t be happening. Surely she was imagining it. James Potter didn’t have the decency to do something so romantic! When she’d imagined him proposing to her, she’d imagined him saying something like “Wanna get married” and that was it. She’d never imagined this.
“Lily?” James’ voice interrupted her reverie. “Lily-I-still-don’t-know-your-middle-name-Evans, I’ve loved you since the day that I laid eyes on you,” he started, pausing only when she scoffed at him.
“I have loved you since the day that I laid eyes on you,” he tried again, glaring at her. “You’ve lit up my world and I can’t imagine living a life without you. Lily, will you marry me?”
Modern Diagon Alley: Madam Malkin’s. Robes for all occasions!
Urquart proposed again during a summertime stroll around the lake in the Hogwarts grounds. This time Minerva accepted. Elphinstone, now retired, purchased a small cottage in Hogsmeade for the pair of them, whence Minerva could travel easily to Hogwarts Castle every day. Minerva kept her maiden name as she had always been something of a feminist. The marriage was a very happy one, and a period of great fulfilment for Minerva. The couple did not have any children of their own, but they were close with Minerva’s nephews and nieces (children of her brothers) and they were frequent visitors at their cottage. The marriage was cut short in 1985 after Elphinstone’s accidental death from a Venomous Tentacula bite. After her husband’s funeral, Minerva left the Hogsmeade cottage and returned to her living quarters at Hogwarts Castle.
